Ducats are the equipment currency in [π] Find Animal Bones. The official description says collected junk turns into Ducats for better equipment. Digging therefore has two products: bones for skeletons, and junk for the next purchase. Judge a run by both, not only by whether a rare animal appeared.
Sort before you shred
Gameplay shows junk going into the shredder, and later shows duplicate Chicken bones being shredded after Chicken has already been revived. Use that order:
- Ask which animal the find belongs to.
- Ask whether that skeleton still needs this piece. Repeated bones can show up while other pieces of the same animal are still missing, so a familiar name is not proof that the skeleton advanced.
- Keep a piece that closes a real gap. The bone that finishes a skeleton has a collection use before it has a resource use.
- Shred junk, and shred a duplicate only after you have decided the collection does not need it. The Chicken example is disposal after revival, not a rule that every repeat is trash while the animal is incomplete.
No recovery method for a shredded piece was described. If you are unsure, hold the bone. No single Ducat value was published for every shredded item, so do not invent a payout and then spend it. Your spendable number is the Ducat balance you already have.
Robux products named Shred All (9 Robux) and Auto Shred (29 Robux) appear on a partial developer-product list. They are optional Robux purchases, not a requirement to use the shredder shown in ordinary play, and the list itself was incomplete.
Close a savings gap
Pick the equipment you want and read its current price in your game.
- Multiply that price by how many you intend to buy, if you need more than one.
- Subtract the Ducats you already hold.
- The remainder is the gap. Unprocessed junk, a truck you have not finished, and a quest reward you have not received are not part of the balance.
The Ducat shortfall calculator does that subtraction from numbers you type. It does not know shop prices, junk rates, or how long digging will take. If the on-page result does not match price times quantity minus your balance, trust the manual subtraction in this section.
Saving is not automatically better than buying. When a device you understand becomes affordable, place it and return to digging. Spending every new Ducat on a machine you will not use leaves the original purchase just as far away.
Truck orders are one delivery, not the economy
One recorded truck order asks for 40 meteorites and shows a countdown. Read the item, quantity, and timer on your own order. That example does not make every truck a meteorite order, and it does not publish a payout or a refresh schedule. A timer seen partway through an order is not the full length of every future order. Unrelated junk does not count toward a meteorite request just because both came from digging.
Take the delivery if you want that short task. Stay on the skeleton if you are close to a revival. Either way, do not add an expected truck payment to the Ducats you can spend right now.
Foreman-style temporary workers, when you have them, belong to the remaining time on the current session. A countdown in one recording is not a global work schedule, and workers are not a way to force a named bone to appear.
