The opening excavation in [π] Find Animal Bones is a four-step sequence, not a shop receipt. Gameplay places the Winch, cranks it, claims a bone, and adds that bone to a skeleton. Chicken is the animal attached to that demonstration.
Finish the action you actually stopped on
| Last action you completed | What is still left |
|---|---|
| Nothing placed | Place the Winch. An unplaced purchase does not dig. |
| Winch is placed | Crank it. This is the manual part of the opening. |
| Crank finished | Claim the bone. A discovery you have not claimed is not in your collection yet. |
| Bone claimed | Add it to the matching skeleton. A claimed bone and a completed animal are different results. |
If the session feels busy but the collection has not moved, name the last row you finished and do the next one. You do not need someone else's keyboard layout to know which stage you are in. Use the interaction the current game shows for place, crank, claim, and assemble.
Buying another Winch
The demonstrated Winch needs the player to operate it. Commentary on buying another Winch points out that the extra machine is still personal work. Choose it when you want that hands-on digging. If you are already splitting attention between finds and skeletons, more manual cranking is a reason to look at a different purchase, not proof that the Winch cannot produce useful bones.
A developer-product list for this experience includes an item named Winch at 5 Robux. That is a Robux listing, not a published Ducat shop price, and it does not prove the tutorial Winch can only be obtained that way. Read the price on the purchase you are actually looking at.
After the first bone
Move a useful bone into its skeleton instead of treating the claim as the reward. Other named machines appear in gameplay β Rocker, Steam Crane, Tower Crane, Derrick, Platform, and Headframe β but their names are not a measured strength ladder. Effects and current Ducat prices were not published. See buying equipment before you spend, and skeletons and revival once the bone is in hand.
